At Spanish Evangelical Resources, We Believe;
We believe in one God, Creator of all things, holy, infinitely perfect, and eternally
existing in three equally divine Persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
We believe that the Scriptures are the inspired Word of God, without error in the original writings, and the
final authority for Christian faith and conduct.
We believe that Jesus Christ is God incarnate, fully God and fully man. He was conceived through the Holy Spirit
and born of the virgin Mary.
He lived a sinless life, was crucified on a cross, arose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven and sits
at the right hand of God the Father as our High Priest and Advocate.
We believe that Jesus Christ, as our representative and substitute, shed His blood on the cross as the perfect,
all-sufficient sacrifice for our sins. His atoning death and victorious resurrection constitute the only grounds
for salvation.
We believe the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to execute the will of God in the world and to apply the salvation
Jesus Christ secured through His death on the cross. The Holy Spirit convicts men, regenerates the believing sinner,
and instructs and empowers the believer for godly living and service.
We believe the Lord Jesus mandated two ordinances, Baptism and the Lord's Supper. However, they are not to be
regarded as the means of salvation.
We believe the true Church is composed of all people who through saving faith in Jesus Christ have been regenerated
by the Holy Spirit and are united together in the Body of Christ.
We believe in the personal and imminent return of our Lord Jesus Christ in a bodily, visible manner.
We believe that God will raise the dead bodily and judge the world, assigning the unbeliever to eternal punishment
with Satan in Hell, and the believer to eternal blessedness and joy with the Lord in the new heaven and the new
earth.
This is a bilingual site, designed to minister to both our Spanish and English speaking readers. Almost every page has a Spanish or English version alternate. Just above the first headline or title of each page, you will find a link to the opposite language version of that page, where is it says, En español if you are on an English page, and In English if you are on a Spanish page.
You can quickly tell by the colors. Spanish pages have touches of green; English pages have soft blue tones.
The English pages come first, and the Spanish pages are added a week or two later when the webmaster receives the Spanish translations.
