Genesis Part 1 explains how and why God made the world and everything in it. It teaches God's purposes, which are essential for us today. It tells us that God created marriage between a man and a woman as the foundation of families, where love, care, and support are shared.
It shows how everything was perfectly made from the beginning but later spoiled by sin. It warns that God punishes sin but promises hope for those who obey Him and put their trust in His Son, Jesus Christ. It also gives details of the worldwide Flood at the time of Noah.
Genesis Part 2 tells us how God called Abraham to be a true believer. Jesus Christ came into the world through Abraham's family to save all people. This is why we say Abraham is the father of all people who have faith in Yahweh, the one true God.
God made many promises to Abraham, such as giving him many descendants and a special land. Abraham believed in these promises even when they took a long time to happen. To see how much Abraham trusted Him, God asked Abraham to sacrifice his son Isaac. At the last moment, God stopped him, showing He never wanted the sacrifice but wanted to test Abraham's faith.
We are also told of Sodom's destruction. It was known for its extreme wickedness. Lot and his daughters were spared because of Lot's righteous character, Abraham's intercession, divine warning, their eventual obedience to flee, and God's merciful nature towards the righteous.
Genesis Part 3 teaches about the work of God in the life of two great men of faith, Isaac and Jacob. They were the son and grandson of Abraham. All three were used by God to begin the nation of Israel and to prepare the way for their coming Messiah, Jesus Christ. Isaac was a type of Christ, but Jacob was a cheat until God changed him into a great man of faith. God prepared a way through them for us all to become spiritual children of Abraham through faith in Israel’s Messiah. We also read about the tribes of Ishmael who persecuted the children of Israel and later all who believe Israel’s Messiah is the one true Son of God Almighty.
Genesis Part 4 shows God at work in the life of Joseph. He was the great-grandson of Abraham. He was one of the twelve sons of Jacob (Israel). Joseph was part of God’s plan for blessing the children of Israel. His faith in God remained strong in times of trouble. Joseph reunited his family and saved them from famine by doing God's will. Joseph’s jealous older brothers planned to destroy him, but God brought good out of evil and restored family unity. This fulfilled God's promises to Abraham regarding Jacob's family and Israel's future nation. Also, Joseph’s step-brother Judah repented and became an ancestor of King David. In this way, Joseph, Israel’s savior, and Judah prepared the way for Jesus Christ, Israel’s Messiah and God’s Servant and Savior of the world.

Churches in rural areas of Mexico and Guatemala, where we serve, often lack reference books for studying the Bible. This shortage can be attributed to two primary reasons: the churches do not have the financial means to purchase these materials, and even if they did, Biblically sound reference materials are not readily available to them. Our ministry distributes these reference materials at no cost at church conferences and via download on the internet.
These Bible Commentary booklets were born in the mind and heart of Fred Morris, who was concerned that people
in many parts of the world needed to learn these precious truths about God and His Son Jesus, in their own language

others at work preparing more and more of Fred's books for free download in 4 languages so far. Western culture/jargon
